Miss Chopra from being a Faux Pas to a Fashionista.

Hey,

All my readers, its been super long since I was away from you’ll and writing and most importantly films. Btw hope you’ll had fun reading my last post on my Roadies rising journey, it was definitely an experience of a lifetime for me. Now after all that work I am back. The May is packed with movies but unfortunately the second half so till then we have to wait. The film I am most excited about is Baywatch.

Priyanka Chopra’s Hollywood debut and since I guess Bajirao Mastani we haven’t seen her on the big screen. She has positively become the talk of the town since she did her sitcom debut in Quantico with two successful running seasons and countless Red carpet appearances be it the Oscars or Golden globe awards or the people’s choice awards and her most recent siting was at the Met Gala in that extravagant statement Ralph Lauren trench gown.

Her fashion sense and style is surely reaching out and making headlines globally, but I guess every rising star has a past faux pas, and the same goes for our Miss Chopra. Beginning her journey with the role of supporting actress in The Hero opposite Sunny Deol , to doing several films which left no impact on box office but surely taught us one big lesson to not to repeat or follow those styles in our lives.

Here are the top 3 fashion faux pas adorned by our very own Red Carpet Queen in films:

1. Drona

Let it all flow.

The film with a heavy budget and a star cast comprising of Priyanka Chopra of course and Abhishek Bachchan was a fantasy cum adventure cum superhero cum mysterious one. I think even the director Goldie Behl couldn’t figure what he actually wanted to show his viewers. Between the turban with open hair and the heavy cleavage flowy outfits to brocade clad jackets to gladiator tie-up footwear and corset tie-ups, I just couldn’t decide what was worse.

2. Love Story 2050

The pink pet.

This film surely made headlines for various reasons, debut of Harman Baweja (Hrithik Roshan Doppelgänger, not only in appearances but also acting sense, and dance moves skills), or all that flimflam about creating different eras and all sorts of vfx to big budgets and not to forget to mention Priyanka Chopra’s red futuristic hairstyle. I mean what kind of a blunder imagination is that? Red Hair and futuristic had no connection since people were anyways dying the hair red in 2008. Anyways not just the hair color but also the weird headgears and that pink teddy pet who seemed like a part of the costume also made no sense. Here are few stills from the film; scroll down to have a quick giggle but wait there is more to it.

Acrylic headband, Red Hair, Bangs, chains, cut-outs, I mean could we ask for more blunders?

3.What’s your Rashee?

Can you pick the worse one?

The much talked about film after Love Story 2050, creating the entire buzz about Priyanka sporting 12 different avatars for each Zodiac sign. Uff so much hype and drama but failed miserably. The film not only failed at the box office but also led to the breakup with her former beau Mr. Baweja who was the hero of the film. I certainly didn't want my rashee to be any out of these, DISASTER.

To die for curls.

Slaying it in Baywatch.

In any case we love Priyanka Chopra and how her style has evolved through the time in cinema, so that’s the reason we can’t wait to watch her in Baywatch in a sexy avatar after a really long time.

Stay tuned for more fun posts and subscribe to my blog.

Love,

Cine Closet.
